We are a fun-loving, goofy photo and video team who just so happen to be in love! We met, fell in love and have had quite the amazing adventure ever since! We have two fur babies, Zoey and Ace! Our favorite weekend activities include date nights at the beach, watching Netflix, and going on family walks!
Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and we believe your photography and film is a huge part of that experience! Shouldn't it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? We think so! All of our couples are so important to us and our goal is to not only capture memories for you, but to give you an experience you will never forget!! When people talk about weddings, they often refer to it as your “big day” or the “best day of your life.” But weddings are an entire season, not just a single day. When you look back on your wedding, you’ll remember the experience - the engagement, the planning, the dress shopping, and the champagne! The day of the wedding is a tribute to everything that came before it. But it’s more than that, too. It’s the culmination of your relationship, the pinnacle of the life you’ve built as a couple. And the joy you feel on that day is absolutely the sum of those parts, not just the day itself. Our goal throughout the process as your photographer and videographer team is to make things feel relaxed, at-ease, and make you confident in your decision to have us document your day. We will work together to discuss timing, your family shot list, and how we can best capture all those moments that will make up your celebration.
The first step after you reach out is discussing your plans, either via phone or email. We want to know about your day and your partner - tell us what you're planning, what you're looking forward to, and why you can't wait to marry them. If you're interested in moving forward, we'd love to invite you on a call about why we might be a good fit. If you're feeling confident and want to secure the date, we can skip this step! A lot of our clients do. We require a signed contract and retainer deposit to lock in your date, and then we get started!

what to expect as a DKPF couple
You're likely reaching out to a lot of photographers during this process and can get easily lost in all of the packages, different price points, and offerings from each one. Here's what you can expect as one of our couples when you decide to move forward with us:
01. Assistance with wedding related questions or knowledge I have to share. After shooting weddings for 5 years, We're happy to help you with recommendations on ceremony time, lighting, or photo locations - We've had brides even reach out about gown choices, bridesmaids dresses, or florals and about suits or tuxes. We're easy to reach and all our clients receive Diana's personal cell phone number to text when needed.
02. Our personalized wedding guide for clients. A few days after booking, you will receive a full guide that we have created and written just for our couples, with tips on everything from our preferred local vendors, engagement sessions, wedding timelines, and more. We find that a photographer and videographer is often booked early on in the process and most of our couples are still building their vendor teams, looking for planning resources, or trying to finalize decor - our wedding guide is a free gift to you to help with all of the above!
03. A solid, protected, multi-step system we've created to ensure your wedding photos and videos are timeless and safely stored.
a. Before your wedding, we send out a questionnaire to get all location details and must-have photos you want for your final gallery. We get everything in writing so we can refer back to it during last-minute planning and day-of coordination.
b. A professional second photographer and videographer is present on your wedding day in every one of our packages unless we have discussed otherwise. We like having an extra set of hands (and eyes) to catch moments during your day and to ensure you get a full gallery with plenty of images from multiple angles.
c. Images are backed up immediately to multiple locations for safe keeping. Two copies are put on my two drive backup system, one is kept on my SSD while I work on your images, and one is stored on the cloud.
d. All images are edited and adjusted before they are delivered to match our style and the aesthetic you can expect from our galleries. Close up portraits receive subtle fashion-style retouching to ensure you look
flawless in your images!
f. Images are delivered in a personalized gallery with both high-resolution and web sized images for ease. You can save a copy of the large files for the future and use smaller ones to post on social media and share with family and friends.
g. Videos are delivered in an online link. You can save a copy of the files for future use and safekeeping!

Handcrafted Albums are the perfect way to remember your wedding day!
We encourage all couples to invest in an album from their wedding day. Your first tangible keepsake as married spouses is more important and significant than images and memories stored on a hard drive. We use KISS, a company in the US that creates the most beautiful handmade books to contain all your captured emotions, moments, and images from your wedding.

engagement sessions
An engagement session is a way for us to get to know each other before your wedding day. We use the time to explain our posing, discuss questions you might have and show you how we work.
The number one thing our clients say at the beginning of their engagement session is "We're not photogenic, we're so awkward in front of the camera." To tell you the truth, everyone says it, everyone feels awkward (including us) and almost everyone finishes out their session saying "Oh that was actually really fun!"
We're big on engagement sessions because getting your photo taken is awkward and can be uncomfortable for those who don't have experience with it. Sessions usually last about an hour, and we take the time going through some of our favorite poses, actions, and ideas to get you comfortable in front of the camera. Ideally on your wedding day, we will walk in and you've had a chance to experience how it feels, you're familiar with the ways we'll pose or direct you, and you feel a little more experienced or confident!
What do your prices include?
All prices listed here include travel and tax but do not include credit card fees
How many images will we receive?
We are firm believers in quality over quantity and will deliver a solid gallery of images you will love! However, we also know your day will be full of important moments. Couples can expect to receive 65-80 images per hour of coverage.
When will we receive our galleries and videos?
Engagement sessions are delivered within 4 weeks and full weddings are delivered within 6-8 weeks. We always post a photo sneak peek within 48 hours for social media sharing. Wedding Films take a bit longer since it's a TON of footage from multiple camera angles, about 14-16 weeks from the wedding day
How can we pay for your services?
We accept Venmo, Zelle or checks. We also accept credit cards, however a credit card fee will apply.

We both have 2 professional camera bodies on us at all times as well as several lenses to choose from. We record to multiple memory cards and backup in multiple places to avoid any technology failures

We book our second shooters for your day about 3 months before the wedding. This is because we only hire full time, working professional wedding photographers and videographers who are also booking their own jobs. They know exactly what to do without us micromanaging them. Second, should something happen to us on the way to your wedding - an accident, emergency, etc; it helps to know that worst case scenario you will have a talented professional arriving at your wedding, on time. You will be in the best hands no matter what!
